Heaton Bennett InsuranceMike Bando graduated from San Diego Christian College with a B.A. in Social Science. He played baseball for two years before going on to coach at his alma mater in 2011. Additionally, Mike obtained his M.A. degree in Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine in 2015.
In 2016 Mike and his wife Amy, had their first child, prompting him to change gears and pursue a more stable career that would provide for his family. In August 2016, Mike obtained his General Lines Life & Health insurance license and in December 2016, Mike obtained his General Lines P&C license. He thoroughly enjoys the insurance industry as it provides the opportunity to foster new relationships, help businesses, serve the local community, and spend time with his family. In 2021 he obtained his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation which speaks to his passion for the industry and desire to be as knowledgeable as he can to best serve his clients.
Mike now has three children, with the fourth on the way, he is a huge baseball fan, loves golf, and worshiping with his family on Sundays.
