Alex Umstead is a seasoned insurance advisor specializing in commercial insurance, with nearly a decade of experience helping businesses navigate risk and protect their assets. He began his insurance career in 2016 and has since built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, tailored coverage solutions to clients across Texas.

Originally from Los Alamos, New Mexico, Alex attended UC Santa Barbara, where he competed as a collegiate athlete in shot put and hammer throw. In 2017, he relocated to Austin and now proudly calls Pflugerville home.

Alex is passionate about building strong relationships with his clients and takes pride in understanding the unique needs of each business he serves. Outside the office, he enjoys cooking, gardening, lifting weights, and traveling with his wife and three children.
